MK Tournament Hub ("the App") is a cricket tournament management tool. This Privacy Policy explains what happens to information when you use the App. In short: the App does not collect, transmit, or share any of your personal data with us or with anyone else.
We do not collect any personal information at all. Everything you enter into the App - player names, contact numbers, addresses, squad lists, tournament schedules, match results, officials' names, and any other content - is saved only in the App's own private storage area on your device. This data never leaves your device, is never sent to us, and is never uploaded to any server that we or anyone else operates.
The App does not request access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone, or any broad storage permission. Where the App lets you import or export a text file (such as a backup or a match scorecard), or choose a photo or logo image, it uses Android's standard system file picker, which only accesses the specific file you choose - the App is never given open access to your device's storage, and any photo or logo you choose stays only on your own device.
The App occasionally connects to the internet for two limited purposes: (1) checking a small file on GitHub for maintenance notices or important announcements, and (2) using Google Play's own official update-check service to let you know when a new version is available. Neither of these connections sends any of your personal data, player information, or app content anywhere - they only check for update/notice information. If you have no internet connection, the App works normally and simply skips these checks.
To protect against tampered or modified copies of the App, it performs some checks entirely on your own device (verifying the App's own digital signature, and checking for the presence of specific known rooting or emulator-related apps). These checks never leave your device and are not sent to us or anyone else.
The App does not use any third-party analytics or advertising service, and does not display ads. It does not require you to create an account or sign in.
Because no personal data is collected by us in the first place, none is shared with, sold to, or disclosed to any third party.
All data described above stays on your own device, inside the App's private, app-specific storage area, which other apps cannot access. Uninstalling the App permanently deletes this data from your device. We recommend using the App's own Export feature if you want to keep a personal backup copy of your data before uninstalling or switching devices.
The App is a general-purpose tournament management tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect any information from children, and as explained above, we do not collect personal information from any user at all.
Since all data lives only on your device, you are always in full control of it. You can delete individual records from within the App at any time, or remove all of it at once by uninstalling the App.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example if a future version of the App adds a new feature that changes how data is handled. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
